Wang Yi: China has not interfered in the internal affairs of the United States
Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi noted that China has never interfered in the internal affairs of the United States.
Wang Yi said at a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, in Moscow yesterday, that China has not interfered in other countries' internal affairs, and thus does not interfere in the internal affairs of the United States.
This is the basic principle of international relations, as well as China's diplomatic tradition and the Chinese way of solving problems, Wang said.
"Now is the time to demand that Washington not interfere in its internal affairs," said Wang Yi, noting that the National People's Assembly has never touched on a bill on the internal affairs of the United States, while the US Congress has always confirmed that it has introduced laws for its work.
Stressing that the United States has come a long way, Wang called on some people in the United States to pay attention to their own business first and stop interfering in other countries' internal affairs by adhering to the rules of international relations.
